Has anyone else been following the Devin Biggs case? It's so upsetting to think about how many families in Detroit are left with unanswered questions, and his story just really stands out. I read that a few local groups have been trying hard to rally support and get more eyes on these cold cases. There’s this deep sense of community with these grassroots efforts, and while it’s uplifting to see, it’s also a reminder of how much work still needs to be done.
I wonder if anyone here has attended any of these community meetings or events? It feels like that additional push from the public might be the game-changer in solving these kinds of cases, but I just hope that justice can come sooner rather than later for the Biggs family. Would love to hear thoughts or any updates from those in the area or following this story closely.
I've been following the Devin Biggs case, and it's just so frustrating to think about how many families in Detroit are in a similar situation—waiting for answers that might never come. Devin was so young, with his whole life ahead of him. It’s hard to imagine what his loved ones are going through.
What’s particularly devastating is the strain on Detroit’s resources back in 2014. The police had their hands full, and it seems like cases were slipping through the cracks because of that. Many unresolved incidents must have been incredibly difficult for officers dedicated to solving these cases, and even more so for families longing for justice.
I read about some community initiatives being launched to tackle these cold cases, and I hope they can make a real difference. The families of Devin and other victims absolutely deserve closure. For those of us who can, supporting these initiatives might be one of the ways we can help. Anyone know if there's been any recent progress or updates in this case?
