Reading about Ryan Fomby’s case again is just so unsettling. I can’t begin to imagine the pain his family, especially his mom, has been enduring all these years without any closure. The fact that Ryan's murder happened more than nine years ago and still hasn't been solved is beyond frustrating. I was thinking about the cold case unit that the Detroit Police Department established. Do we know if they’ve looked into Ryan’s case recently? With advancements in forensic technology, I'm hopeful they might find something they missed before. It would be amazing if they could finally get some answers through new DNA analysis or other techniques. If anyone on this forum knows of any updates or ways the community could push for more resources to be devoted to these cold cases, please share. Every little bit helps, right? We’ve got to keep Ryan’s memory alive and support his family in their quest for justice.
Hi everyone,
I've been following Ryan Fomby's case, and something that stands out to me is the role of Crime Stoppers and the importance of community collaboration in unsolved cases like this one. Ryan's family and Crime Stoppers have been relentless in their pursuit, offering a reward to encourage people to come forward with information. It’s a reminder of how crucial community involvement is in solving these tragedies. Even a seemingly insignificant piece of information can be the key to unlocking the truth.
If anyone out there has heard anything, even if it seems trivial, please don’t hesitate to report it anonymously. It’s frustrating that so many families in Detroit are in the same heartbreaking situation, and any action we can take, big or small, might help tip the scales towards justice. Let’s continue to support Ryan’s family in their fight, and maybe one day this case—and others like it—will finally be resolved. My thoughts are with them, hoping for answers soon.
Stay safe, everyone.
