Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Corey Jennings' case lately and can't shake off the feeling of sadness for his family and friends. It's truly devastating when a young life is cut short like that. I recently read an article highlighting Detroit's struggle with resources and it's so frustrating to see how many cases remain unsolved.
What really hit me, though, was how this wasn't just an isolated event. The entire period around his death was marred with violence. It's as if the city was crying out for help, and yet the cries went unheard. I wonder how the community is holding up with this constant shadow of fear and if there's anything that us outsiders can do to support them.
Hoping for justice for Corey and peace for his loved ones. They deserve answers and closure.

It's devastating to think about what Corey Jennings' family must be going through, especially considering the tough time Detroit was having back in 2014 with all the violence. I remember reading an article about how the city was struggling with limited resources. It got me wondering, with so many unsolved cases back then, how are they prioritizing investigations? It seems like several families could be waiting for answers for years. My heart goes out to Corey’s loved ones; it must be incredibly painful not to have closure on what happened. Does anyone know if there's been any development in similar cases from that time? It seems like restoring community trust is essential for these cases to move forward.
