Hi everyone,
I was reading about Corey Lamont Crosby's case and couldn't help but think about the role of community involvement in these investigations. The lack of cooperation from witnesses is such a challenge for the authorities. I wish more people would come forward with what they know, even if it's just a small detail. Every bit helps, you know?
Corey's family and friends deserve answers and closure, and it all starts with cooperation. The Detroit Police Department has been trying to address cases like Corey's with new tech and resources, but without the community's voice, it's still an uphill battle. It's a reminder of how interconnected we all are in seeking justice.
Do you think there's a way to encourage more people to speak up? Maybe increased anonymity or reward programs could help? Curious to hear your thoughts on how we can build trust and support for witness cooperation.

Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Corey Lamont Crosby? It's so painful to think about what his family must be going through. Something that’s been on my mind is the impact of uncooperative witnesses in these cases. It seems like such a huge barrier to getting justice for Corey and many others in Detroit.
I know there are understandable reasons why witnesses might hesitate to come forward—fear of retaliation and distrust of law enforcement come to mind—but how can we bridge that gap? Are there any successful programs elsewhere that could inspire changes in Detroit?
It’s hard to see a solution when the cycle of violence feels so entrenched, but I really hope there’s a way to build more trust and cooperation between the community and the police. If anyone has heard of initiatives that have worked in similar cities, please share. Every bit of progress counts in bringing closure to families like Corey’s.
