I’ve been thinking a lot about the discovery of John Wingler's truck in 2019. It's puzzling how close it was to his home, just two miles away, yet it wasn't found for four years. It makes me wonder if anyone ever checked those woods early on. I live near an area with old logging roads, and those places can get pretty isolated and overgrown quickly. It’s a tragic oversight to think something so vital to this case could be missed for so long. I can't shake the feeling that the location of the truck must mean something, though. Like maybe it wasn’t visible from the air during previous searches, or maybe it was just overlooked because of the dense forest. Anyone else have thoughts on why the truck might not have been found sooner, or why he might have ended up there?
