I was reading through some old case files and came across the disappearance of Robert "Hugh" Motley. It's such a peculiar case, especially since there were no signs of a struggle or any personal items left behind in his car. I wonder if there's any significance to the location where his vehicle was found. Is it possible that someone else could have been in the area at the time who might have seen something? The sawmill near State Routes 627 and 628 might have had workers coming and going. Has there been any outreach or attempts to contact former employees or locals who might recall anything unusual from that day? It's such a long time ago, but sometimes people remember the oddest details when prompted. Maybe it's worth revisiting that angle?

Has anyone else looked into the sawmill area where Hugh Motley's car was found? It just seems like a strange spot for a car to be left abandoned unless something specific happened there. I wonder if the sawmill or its surroundings had any incidents around that time that could link to his disappearance. Maybe somebody who lived or worked nearby might recall something? It’s just odd that there were no further clues, especially since vehicles usually hold at least a small piece of evidence. I'm really curious if the car was out of gas or had any mechanical issues. It's frustrating that so little info has ever come to light.
