Hi everyone, I just wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind regarding Antony Pritchett's murder in Detroit. I read that community cooperation is a serious issue when it comes to solving cases like this. It is so upsetting to think that there might be individuals out there who know something but haven't come forward. It makes me feel for Antony's family knowing they are still waiting for closure years later. I understand that there are fears and mistrust in some communities towards law enforcement, but wouldn’t it be amazing to see a shift where people feel safe to share what they know? Maybe initiatives aimed at building trust between residents and police could help break these barriers down. My heart truly goes out to Antony's loved ones, and I hope for a future where justice is more easily served in cases like his. What strategies or programs have you all heard of or seen in other cities that help improve trust and communication between communities and law enforcement? Maybe there are lessons Detroit could learn from those. Take care all, and thank you for reading.
