Hey everyone, I've been doing some reading on Cornelius Bargainer's case and it got me thinking about the role of community support in dealing with these unsolved homicides. It's unbelievably difficult for families to endure the wait for justice, and I really feel for those who are still hoping for answers. From what I've read, Detroit's efforts to create a cold case webpage seem like a step in the right direction, but I wonder if there are additional ways the community can get involved to support these families and help with these investigations. Have any of you heard of community-based programs or grassroots initiatives that have been effective in other cities? Maybe there's something similar we could advocate for or participate in here. It just feels like more voices are needed to push for change and help the families who are suffering with the uncertainty and pain of not knowing what happened to their loved ones. I'd love to hear your thoughts or about any initiatives that could make a difference. Thanks for letting me share.
