Has anyone looked into why the original search efforts back in 1974 didn't find the car when it was so close to where they went missing? Seems odd that a canal near Broward Boulevard wasn't checked thoroughly, especially since the technology we have today wasn't available back then. It raises questions about the initial investigation—like maybe they didn't consider the possibility of an accidental canal entry? Or maybe it was overlooked in chaos of things at that time? Just curious if anyone has any info or theories on this aspect of the case.
