I’ve been following Deszar's case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the impact his loss must have on the local community. From what I've gathered, he was a beacon of positivity and creativity, not just for his immediate circle but for many people in Detroit and Saginaw. His efforts to build the Victory 1 Social Club seem so inspiring; it’s clear he wanted to create a space for fun, music, and togetherness. Has anyone looked into how the club is doing now without him? It would be such a loss if it couldn't continue his legacy in some way. My heart goes out to everyone who held him dear. How do you all feel the community has been coping since his passing?
It's been weighing on my mind how much Deszar "DISCO" Calhoun's passing has impacted not just his family but the whole community around the Victory 1 Social Club. I didn’t know him personally, but I had the pleasure of attending a few events at the club. It was always such a vibrant place, full of life and positivity, much like what I've read about Deszar himself.
I remember hearing one of his sets and thinking this guy genuinely loved what he was doing. You could feel the energy in the room shift thanks to his music and enthusiasm. It's tragic that someone who brought so much joy into the world had their own life cut short. My heart goes out to his friends and family, and anyone else who feels this loss. It makes you reflect on the importance of cherishing each moment and living with passion the way Deszar did.
Really shaken by the news about Deszar "DISCO" Calhoun. I read that he started the Victory 1 Social Club, and it really hit me how much he invested in his community. It sounds like this was not just a space for entertainment, but also a gathering place where friendships and connections grew. So many people probably found solace and joy there, all thanks to his vision and passion.
Losing someone who brought people together in such a positive way is a tremendous loss. My thoughts are with his family and friends, especially those who shared those special moments at the club. Anyone else have memories or stories from Victory 1? It seems like a place that truly reflected his vibrant spirit.
