I’ve been following Donte Green's case for a while now, and I can't help but think about the impact on his family and how they must feel all these years later. The fact that his murder remains unsolved after so long must be incredibly difficult for them to bear. I really hope that the Detroit Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is able to make some progress.
It infuriates me to think about how many families are waiting for justice in Detroit. It’s almost like there’s a forgotten population of suffering families, and Donte’s family is sadly among them. Let’s not forget our role in this as community members. If even one person who knows something about Donte’s case comes forward, it could change everything. It's a sobering reminder of how crucial public cooperation is in bringing justice to families and in ensuring these crimes are not forgotten.

I was reading through some old threads and came across Donte Green's case. It's deeply concerning to think about how many families in Detroit are left in the dark, just like his. I can't even imagine the frustration and pain they must be feeling not knowing what happened or why no one has been held accountable.
I often wonder why more people in the community don’t come forward if they have information. I get that there might be fear of retaliation or distrust in how the police handle things, but these families need closure. They deserve it. Maybe if there are efforts to build more trust between law enforcement and the community, we might see more people willing to share what they know. It's so important for those who have any piece of the puzzle to step up and help bring some justice for Donte and all the others whose stories remain untold.
It would be incredible to see some progress or hear about any new developments. It's been too long for Donte's family. Thoughts and love to them and all who cared about him.
