Hey everyone, I've been revisiting the case of Marcus Prince, and something I've been thinking about is the neighborhood watch programs in Detroit at the time of his death. Do any locals remember if Marcus was involved in any community initiatives? It's so important to have those grassroots connections to try to make a difference, and I wonder if Marcus was a part of or impacted by them. It's devastating to hear about someone being taken away in such a senseless act, especially in a city that was working hard to combat violence. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are only still dealing with. If anyone has any insights on how the neighborhood watch groups might have evolved since 2016 or how they play a role in preventing crimes now, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
