Hey all, I’ve been puzzling over Kim Michael Klimek’s case, and something about the airport situation is sticking out to me. If his truck was found parked at Milwaukee's Mitchell Airport but there’s no record of him getting on a flight, could he have met someone there? Maybe it was someone he planned to travel with or meet before heading to Vegas? It makes you wonder if there’s a chance someone else was involved, whether they’re a part of his disappearance or just a missing piece of the puzzle.
Also, why leave his mail untouched from November 8? That seems like such a missed cue if he was planning to be away. I feel like this part of the timeline could be crucial to unraveling where things took a turn. If anyone has insights on how airport or flight records could be further explored, or if something similar happened in other cases, let's share thoughts.
Has anyone else found it strange how Kim's truck ended up at Mitchell International but there's absolutely no sign of him ever boarding a flight? I've been looking at this case for a while now, and this part really stands out to me. It's like he vanished after arriving at the airport, but wouldn't there be some camera footage or a witness seeing him there? I know the early 90s weren't as tech-savvy with surveillance as today, but I'm curious if they ever managed to dig up any relevant video. Also, why would he be packing for Las Vegas, but then not leave any sign of a flight? Could he have been meeting someone there who might know more about why he disappeared? It's all really puzzling, and I wish there had been more follow-up on this angle. Anyone have insights or similar thoughts?
It's always bothered me that Kim's truck was found at the airport but there's no sign he actually boarded a flight. Did he catch a ride with someone else, or was the truck left there to throw off investigators? A lot of people leave their cars at airports when they travel, but it's weird there's no trace of him beyond that point. Airports have so many cameras—hard to believe there wouldn't be at least some footage of him if he was really there. And what about Las Vegas? Was that trip a decoy or linked to something more sinister? It's frustrating how there seem to be dead ends at every turn in this case. Anyone else have thoughts on the airport angle or what he might have been planning next?
