Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Ronnie Neal's case lately and the impact that violence in Detroit has on young people's futures. It breaks my heart to see another life lost so young, especially when I think about all the potential that Ronnie had. A 17-year-old should be worrying about prom or what college to attend, not becoming a statistic in the city's battle with gun violence. I was reading how the Detroit Police Department's cold case unit is working on all these unsolved cases, and it makes me hope that with new technology and community help, they might find justice for Ronnie someday. But I can't help but feel frustrated at how long these families have to wait for answers. I wish there was more we could do to support victims' families and push for solutions to the horrific levels of violence in certain neighborhoods. Does anyone know if there have been any recent developments in Ronnie's case? Or perhaps how the community is continuing to honor his memory? Thanks for letting me share my thoughts. Stay safe, everyone.
