Has anyone else been thinking about the delay in the ambulance response in Andrew Barth’s case? I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family felt having to watch those precious minutes slip away, knowing Andrew wasn’t getting the help he desperately needed at that moment. The fact they were sent to the wrong location while every second counted—it’s just haunting. Not saying it would have definitely saved him, but how do you even begin to process that added layer of tragedy? Feels like someone, somewhere needs to be held accountable for that, because it just doesn’t seem right. My heart goes out to Andrew’s family and friends as they continue to seek justice and try to find peace. Sounds like this young man was truly loved and it’s just so jarring for everything to end in such a senseless way. Anyone have insights on dispatch protocols or how this could’ve been avoided?

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Andrew Barth, and something that really stands out is the delay in response time from emergency services. It’s so frustrating to think about. I can’t even imagine how devastating this must be for Andrew’s family, especially knowing that there was a mix-up in getting an ambulance to him. From what I understand, the ambulance was sent to the wrong location initially, which added to the delay. The thought that Andrew might have had a better chance had help arrived sooner is really distressing. It's another layer to this tragedy that his family has to bear. I hope that some form of accountability or systemic change happens so that this kind of delay doesn't affect other families in the future. Does anyone else have thoughts on how these kinds of errors could be prevented in the future? Or has anyone heard of any recent updates about changes in protocol following this incident? My heart goes out to the Barth family. They deserve answers and justice for Andrew. Take care, [Username]

I’ve been following Andrew Barth’s case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the massive error with the ambulance dispatch. It’s unbelievably frustrating to know that precious minutes were lost due to a mix-up in addresses. It makes you wonder if those crucial 35 minutes could have made a difference in Andrew’s outcome. My heart goes out to his family and especially his father, Tim, who has been vocal about this painful delay. It feels like a tragic reminder of how system inefficiencies can have real, devastating consequences. I hope this case brings about some changes and that Andrew's family eventually finds the justice and answers they deserve. Has anyone heard if there have been any improvements or reviews of how emergency responses are handled in Rockford since this incident?
