I've been following Guadalupe Ortiz-Santiago's case for a while now, and I'm curious if anyone else has any insights or thoughts about the general approach of missing persons investigations from that time period. I've read that resources for such investigations were quite different back in 2005 compared to now, especially in terms of technology and coordination between different agencies. Could this be why there's been so little information released about Guadalupe? It's so frustrating to think how much could be changing over the years in terms of investigative tools and public awareness. If anyone has any knowledge about how cases like hers were handled back then, I'd love to learn more. Maybe there's something in the procedural differences that contributed to the lack of publicly available info, or perhaps the community or local police department might not have had the necessary resources. I've been following Guadalupe Ortiz-Santiago's case for a while now, and something I find odd is the lack of specific details available to the public. It's frustrating to hear so little about her height, weight, or even what she was wearing the day she went missing. I wonder if there was ever any surveillance footage or if any potential sightings were reported in the early days of her disappearance. Considering she went missing back in 2005, I can't help but think about how much technology and access to information have improved since then. We have so many more resources now that could potentially aid in the search for Guadalupe.
Does anyone know if the police or any private investigators have revisited the case with newer technology, like improved forensic tools or social media outreach? It's hard not knowing if all possible avenues are being explored to bring answers to her family.
