Anyone else find it odd that despite the extensive search for Rodney Granroth, with all those resources, they still found no trace of him? The recent snowfall obviously made searching difficult, but I can't help but wonder if it might have also covered any crucial evidence that could have pointed to his whereabouts. It's like he just vanished into thin air, which is so baffling. I’ve been following this case since it started, and every time I go over the details, the lack of evidence baffles me. If anyone has any theories or thoughts, I'd love to hear them. Maybe there's something we've all overlooked?
Has anyone here with any expertise in hunting or survival skills thought about how Rodney might have managed out there if he got lost? I know the weather conditions were brutal with that snowfall, but I keep thinking if an experienced outdoorsman like Rodney would have had some strategies up his sleeve. Maybe there are areas he might have gone to for shelter that search teams haven't considered? I've read about hunters sometimes having makeshift shelters or familiar spots they use—places they think are too obvious or familiar to them but might be missed by search teams. Would love to hear thoughts from those familiar with hunting in the Upper Peninsula and what kind of places Rodney might have relied on in an emergency.
