I've been digging into the old case of John Edwin Keyton, and something that strikes me every time is the risk he seemed to take by driving without a license, especially at his age. I understand he might've been trying to stay independent, but avoiding main roads seems like it would've been incredibly stressful, particularly for such a long trip from Virginia to Kentucky. Given his shaky driving history, it makes me wonder if any other minor fender-benders or traffic altercations might have slipped under the radar around that time. Did anyone in the Bridgewater or Dabolt areas recall seeing the car? Local law enforcement might not have been as coordinated back then, which could mean clues got overlooked. Thoughts?

I’ve been diving deep into the John Edwin Keyton case, and there’s something that puzzles me. Does anyone else find it odd that all three individuals were in the car, yet only Martha Helmick's remains have been identified? Especially since the car was found in the Kentucky River, where currents could have easily displaced the other bodies! It almost makes me wonder if there’s more to the story. Maybe someone survived longer than we think or perhaps managed to get out of the water initially? I know speculation is just that, speculation, but the fact that John and Flora are still missing after all these years is baffling. Anyone else have theories on this?
