I’ve been following the case of Harold Lee Sr. Able, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on his family and the community. It’s distressing to see how many families were affected by the violence in Baltimore in 2009. Harold Lee’s murder on Aiken Street seems to be another reminder of the struggles that were so prevalent back then. I imagine how difficult it must be for his loved ones to not have any closure, especially with no suspects or known motives. Every loss affects so many people, and I hope they eventually find the answers they need and deserve. Anyone know if there have been any developments or renewed efforts to look into cold cases from that period?
I was reading about the tragic case of Harold Lee Sr. Able, who was killed back in 2009 in Baltimore, and it’s really devastating to think about how his family has had to carry on without answers for all these years. The fact that the details are so scarce makes it even more unsettling. It's cases like these that remind us of the real people and families behind the statistics we hear about, especially during a year like 2009 when violence seemed rampant.
I’m really curious about what the community response was like at the time, especially around Aiken Street. Did local residents rally together? Were there any neighborhood initiatives or movements to curb the violence after this tragedy? It just feels like there should have been more attention on this, given the context of rising violence.
Keeping Harold's family in my thoughts and hoping someday they'll have the closure they deserve. It's just so important we don't forget the individuals amidst the news reports and numbers.
