Has anyone looked into the weather conditions the day the plane went missing? I’m curious if there were any storms or wind patterns that could have contributed to the disappearance. A hole in the ice large enough for a plane sounds suspicious, but weather-related factors shouldn’t be ruled out just yet. Also, do we know what kind of aircraft it was? Some models might be more susceptible to harsh conditions. Would love to hear thoughts from someone knowledgeable in aviation or meteorology!

Hey everyone, did anyone catch the news about that overdue plane between Point Hope and Lisburne AFS? I just read that they found a large hole in the ice about three miles north of Kivalina that could potentially be big enough for the plane. Has anyone heard anything else about the current search efforts or what they plan to do next? It's been so tough not knowing what happened, and I'm just hoping there's some way for the search teams to really get eyes on the area soon. I've heard ice can be really tricky in these situations. Does anyone have experience or know more about how aerial searches are conducted in these kinds of conditions? Would appreciate any insights.

Has anyone else been following the case of the missing plane between Point Hope and Lisburne AFS? I was digging around and found out that there's a pretty significant hole in the ice discovered about 3 miles off shore north of Kivalina. It's large enough to potentially fit an airplane. This makes me wonder if the hole could be connected to the disappearance. Given how remote this area is and how brutal the conditions can be, does anyone with experience in arctic searches think locating anything in that ice would even be possible? It must be so challenging for search teams out there. Anyone know more about the current status of the search efforts or the kind of equipment they might be using in such icy conditions?
