Hey everyone, I came across Ricky Peterson's case and couldn't help but wonder about the condition of the Highway 47 bridge back in 1981. Does anyone know if there were any safety issues back then, like construction or missing railings? It's strange that his car was left there, yet no one saw anything. Maybe something about the bridge could provide clues or help us understand what might've happened. I've been digging into Ricky A. Peterson's case from back in 1981, and something really puzzles me. Does anyone else find it odd that his car was just left there on the Highway 47 bridge without anyone seeing anything? This was before the age of smartphones and surveillance cameras everywhere, sure, but even then, wouldn't someone have noticed a car sitting there out of place or recall seeing someone by the bridge? I just find it strange that there were zero witnesses, not even someone passing by. It's like one moment he was there, and the next, nothing. I wonder if it's possible that someone else was there that night. Maybe someone knows more but never came forward? What does everyone else think about this gap in eyewitness accounts?
