I came across Brock Solomon Tatum's case recently, and it really struck me just thinking about the environment so many young people in Baltimore are faced with. It's deeply unsettling that places like Hollins Street have such a heavy cloud of violence hanging over them, driven by the drug trade and territorial disputes. When I think of Brock and his family, I'm reminded of how communities are impacted by these systemic issues, where the ease of accessing weapons makes each conflict a potential tragedy. It's beyond upsetting that this case still hasn't been solved all these years later, and it highlights the need for both immediate intervention and longer-term solutions. Are there any local community efforts ongoing right now to address these kinds of issues, or changes being pushed for in policy?
