I recently came across some information about Officer Aaron Blount and was struck by his passion for coaching the youth basketball team at Welcome All Park. I've been thinking a lot about what this must have meant to the kids he mentored. It’s beyond tragic that his life was cut short, and his absence must’ve been felt deeply by the young people who looked up to him. I wonder if any of those kids have shared stories about how he impacted their lives or if the community has done anything to honor his legacy. The way he invested himself in helping young people grow and succeed speaks volumes about his character. If anyone has more details or personal experiences, I’d love to hear how he made a difference in their lives. Sending thoughts of peace and strength to his family and all those affected.
