Hi all, I’ve been thinking a lot about the regulations surrounding night hunting, especially after learning about Christopher Upton’s tragic death. It just seems like there should be stricter guidelines or technology enhancements required for hunters involved in night activities, considering how easy it is to make a mistake — and what a terrible price is paid when that happens. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family and friends have endured due to this oversight. Does anyone know if there have been any changes in the laws or equipment standards since this incident? It feels like Upton’s passing could be a catalyst for meaningful changes to prevent future tragedies. I’d love to hear your thoughts or any updates on legislation in this regard.
