I’ve been following Gerard Osborne’s case for some time now, and one detail that stood out to me was the resilience of his family. It's been clear throughout this difficult process that his loved ones never gave up hope for justice, despite the challenges they faced. I can’t imagine how tough it must have been for them to wait all those years, hoping for a break in the case. Their persistence and advocacy kept Gerard’s story alive and brought attention back to his unsolved murder. This kind of unwavering determination from a victim’s family plays such a vital role in these investigations. Sometimes, it feels like the only spark keeping these cold cases alive. Seeing justice finally served in 2018 had to bring some sense of closure, though nothing can truly erase the pain of such loss. I hope their courage and commitment inspire others in similar situations to continue pushing for answers and justice. Sending all my support to Gerard’s family and to anyone else still fighting for their loved ones.
