Has anyone else looked into the details surrounding the discovery of James McGlothin's vehicle in Athens? I find it odd that his Chevy Blazer was found in a location completely opposite to where he was supposedly heading. It's like he took a deliberate detour or maybe he was forced to. Why Athens? Was there someone he knew there or could it have been a setup? I'm also curious if any surveillance footage was checked around the Days Inn when his car was found. Could provide a clue on who might've driven it there. If anyone has more insights on local happenings around that time or similar cases, it might help piece together what happened to James.
