Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Simon Lee King Jr., and I can’t stop thinking about how difficult it must be for his family and friends with the case still unsolved after all this time. I was particularly struck by how the local community in Columbus has rallied around his family, showing up at vigils and sharing his story, trying to keep his memory alive. It’s clear Simon meant a lot to those around him. It makes me wonder about the people who might know something but are hesitant to speak up. Could there be more outreach efforts or incentives to encourage these witnesses to come forward? Sometimes even the smallest piece of information can be the key to cracking a case wide open. I really hope someone finds the courage to provide the police with what they need to move forward. As a community, it feels like we owe it to Simon and his loved ones to not let his case grow cold. Sending all the strength and support I can to those who continue to fight for justice in his name.
