I’ve been thinking a lot about Lee Jones and how his murder remains unsolved for so long. It’s really tough to imagine what his family and friends have been going through all these years without any answers. One thing that strikes me about this case is the community aspect. I read somewhere that sometimes people in neighborhoods affected by violence might not feel safe speaking up, but it’s so crucial. I know it’s a big ask, but maybe someone out there has a piece of the puzzle that could really help. Also, with all the technological advancements in forensic science over the past decade, it makes you wonder if there might be something more that can be done with any old evidence? I’m hoping that renewed interest or a new perspective could lead to breakthroughs not just in Lee’s case, but in others like his. Sending thoughts and strength to his family on this incredibly difficult journey, and to all the families waiting for justice.
