Does anyone else feel frustrated about how little information we've got about Derrick Deon Smith's case? It's been over a decade since he was killed in 2012, and it seems terrifyingly easy for cases like these to slip through the cracks. My heart goes out to Derrick's family and friends, who have had to deal with the loss without the closure of seeing justice served. It's unsettling to think that such a violent crime could happen in broad daylight on Belair Road, a street that has seen its fair share of turmoil, yet still remain unsolved. I truly hope that someone with information will come forward and finally give Derrick and his loved ones the justice they desperately need. In a city like Baltimore, where violence has left too many families grieving, this cycle has to change. While we can't turn back time, we can certainly rally behind Derrick's family and press on for answers. Anyone else have thoughts on how to keep attention on these unsolved cases?
