I'm really saddened by Dimitri's story. It’s been over a decade, and it’s tough knowing that there are still no answers for his family. I keep thinking about how this case, like so many others in Baltimore, just seems to get lost in the shuffle. How do we help ensure cases like Dimitri's aren't forgotten? There's this huge spotlight on needing justice for victims, but it feels like the system isn't doing enough to follow through. It’s frustrating because each name, each case number, represents a person with family and friends left in limbo. I truly hope Dimitri’s family finds some peace and closure someday. This cycle of violence just has to stop. If anyone knows of any advocacy groups working on unsolved cases in Baltimore, I'd love to hear about them. Maybe there's something more we can do collectively. Dimitri deserved better, and so does everyone experiencing this kind of pain.

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if this has been brought up before, but I’ve been thinking a lot about the community response after Dimitri Alexander Staten's murder. What really struck me was how neighbors and local organizations came together, calling for change and supporting Dimitri's family during such a tough time. It's pretty inspiring to see people rally around each other like that, especially when faced with such a heavy loss. I'm curious if there were any specific initiatives that started because of this? Maybe community outreach or violence prevention programs? It’d be great to hear if anyone knows more about what’s happening on that front. Sending all my thoughts to Dimitri’s loved ones. It’s so important we keep these conversations going and push for change in memory of all those affected. Stay safe out there, everyone.
