I was reading about the case of Merv Douglas and can't stop thinking about how the community could hold key pieces of the puzzle that have yet to be shared. It's incredibly frustrating to see another family left in limbo without answers, especially in a city like Baltimore where violence seems to cast such a long shadow. What stands out to me is the location of the crime, the 2300 block of North Charles Street. It’s a busy area, and you'd think there might have been witnesses or cameras that caught something. Perhaps someone saw something but is scared to come forward? In times like these, I wonder how we can better support each other to help bring justice to families like Merv's. It’s so vital for people to speak up, even if their piece of information seems small or insignificant. My heart goes out to Merv’s loved ones who are still waiting for accountability and closure.
