Has anyone heard if they've brought in any K9 units for the search? With Casey's snowmachine being found in the river, I'm wondering if scent dogs could help pick up any trail despite the challenging conditions. I know the situation up there is tough with the river and all, but maybe the dogs could offer another angle in this search? Also, does anyone local know if the river has iced over more in the past few days or is it still mostly open? Kinda digging for any updates since I'm too far away to lend a hand myself!
Did anyone else notice how Casey Graham's snowmachine was found near an open lead of water? It's concerning because those leads are sometimes hard to spot, especially at night or with the wind blowing snow around. I'm curious if the visibility was particularly bad when Casey went out. It just goes to show how unpredictable those conditions can be. Does anyone familiar with the area know if those leads usually freeze over quickly or if they're more permanent? Maybe the community can use this to raise more awareness about the dangers in that stretch of the river. Sending thoughts to Casey’s family and friends during this difficult time.
