I've been reading about what happened at the Dominicanas Hair Salon, and I'm devastated for all the families involved. One part of this tragic event that really haunts me is thinking about Noelia Gonzalez-Brito's young life, especially with her being pregnant at the time. It's unimaginable to think about not only losing a loved one but knowing that they were so excited to bring a new life into this world. It breaks my heart for her boyfriend, Guillermo Agramonte, who was trying to reach her during and after everything went down. I can't even begin to understand the pain he must be feeling, especially having to help identify her in such a way. I just hope that everyone affected finds some peace eventually, and that this can be a wake-up call for communities to take stronger action against domestic violence, so that no one else has to go through something like this.

It's crucial for the community and authorities to address these gaps and prevent similar tragedies.
