Hi everyone, I can't stop thinking about John's case—the idea that he might have been in the wrong place at the wrong time is so devastating. It's hard enough to wrap our minds around how something like this could happen, but I'm also really struck by how his case is a part of a larger trend in Baltimore. With so many unsolved homicides each year, families like John's are left in limbo, which must be incredibly difficult to bear. Does anyone know if there have been community efforts or initiatives aimed at encouraging more cooperation from witnesses? It feels like making people feel safe enough to come forward could be key in not just this case, but so many others. Sending thoughts to John's family, and hoping that someday they might get the answers they need.
