Hi everyone,
I’ve been going through the details of the James Ross case and I keep thinking about the broader impact of the environment back then in Baltimore—specifically how strained police resources seemed to be. It must have been incredibly difficult for families like James’s, who had to navigate their grief amidst what felt like constant violence in the community.
I guess I just find myself wondering how different things might have been if more resources were available for both preventing these crimes and conducting thorough investigations. The lack of cooperation in these cases is so frustrating, but understandably, people might have felt scared or distrustful at the time.
My heart goes out to James's family, as well as everyone who suffered similar losses during that period. It’s unsettling to think about how many families are still waiting for closure. If anyone has thoughts on how communities can support each other in these situations, I’d love to hear your ideas.
