I've been thinking a lot about Davie's case and how challenging it must be for his family, especially during the holidays. One detail that really stands out to me is the location of the shooting. From what I understand, it happened near some bushes outside an apartment complex on Shimmery Lane. Could it be possible that someone in that complex saw something or heard something that night? I know it's been years, but sometimes people remember small details later on. If anyone lived or knows someone who lived in that area back in 2015, it might be worth revisiting with them to see if any new memories surface. I can only imagine how difficult it is for Davie's family to keep pushing for answers. It's so important to keep these discussions alive in hopes that one day they can find the closure they desperately need. Stay strong, Glinton family. ?
I've been following Davie's case for a while now, and it's so overwhelming to think about how his life was taken from him in such a sudden and violent manner. What strikes me is how promising his future was—imagine being a talented athlete with the world at your feet, only to have it all stripped away in an instant.
Something that I've been pondering is the role of community surveillance around that area. It's unfortunate that no arrests have been made yet, but are there any known accounts of security cameras in the neighborhood that could have caught something? Sometimes all it takes is a small piece of footage to make a breakthrough in cases like these, especially when eyewitness accounts are scarce or unreliable.
My thoughts go out to Davie's family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they must feel, especially during this time of year. Here's hoping that sharing information and keeping the conversation alive will eventually lead to the justice they so desperately seek.
