I’ve been thinking about Paul Terrell Henry a lot lately. Such a vibrant soul, taken from this world far too soon. I read somewhere that he was a devoted father, always talking about his kids like they were his everything. It makes me wonder about the ripple effect this tragedy had on the children who lost not just a father, but a role model and a confidant. It’s mentioned often how Paul was known for his love of dancing, singing, and playing the piano. It's heartwarming to imagine him enjoying those moments at the Parliament House, surrounded by friends. But what hits me the most is envisioning how those joyful memories will forever bear the shadow of this loss for his children. They’ll grow up with stories about their dad's incredible personality, wishing they could have more time with him beyond those memories. I sincerely hope those kids know just how much their father loved them. In remembering Paul, it’s essential to bring light to the lives he touched, especially his family. May they find strength in their memories of him, and may they feel the embrace of a caring community who shares in their grief.
