I recently revisited some discussions about the Pulse Nightclub shooting and stumbled upon more about Kimberly Jean "KJ" Morris. It's deeply moving to hear how she was not only known for her incredible warmth and smile at work but also how fiercely she cared for her family—moving all the way from Hawaii to Orlando for them. It makes me reflect on how life can be so unpredictably cruel, taking someone so vibrant and dedicated to spreading love. Something that hasn't been discussed much is the security measures put in place afterwards. While it's vital to increase security, it's also crucial to remember the personal stories like KJ’s, the lives full of compassion and joy that were taken too soon. Her dedication to her family and her courageous leap to start over in a new city is something that should never be forgotten. How have these increased security measures changed your perspective or experiences while out in public? It’s a sobering thought that we must address these concerns while remembering the individual losses like KJ's. My heart goes out to her family and all the other families affected during these continued difficult times.
