Hey everyone,
I've been following Deondre Howard's case and recently came across something that I can't stop thinking about. It's just so sad knowing that Deondre, who seemed like such a bright light for his family and friends, was taken away in a blink while doing something as simple as chatting with his brother. How terrifying must it have been for his younger brother to witness such a thing, and then have to live with those memories?
I read an article where his coaches talked about what a dedicated athlete he was and how they were expecting great things from him in both baseball and football. Can you imagine seeing a young talent rise through hard work and commitment, only for his dreams to be snuffed out like this? It feels like his future was stolen, not just from him, but from everyone who believed in him.
If anyone has more insights into the athletic community's response or other personal stories about Deondre, I'd love to hear them. It's hard not to get frustrated with the lack of answers in this case. Sending love to his family—they truly deserve closure and justice.

It’s so hard to comprehend how someone like Deondre Howard, who had such a bright future, could be taken from us so suddenly. I can only imagine how his mother must feel, witnessing something so horrific. It's terrifying to think about how his younger brother is coping with the trauma of that night as well. I read somewhere that Deondre had dreams of going pro, and he was the kind of person who always lifted up those around him, whether on the field or off. It’s painful to think that his killer is still out there. I truly hope someone steps forward with information soon. Thinking of his family, teammates, and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
