I stumbled across this case while going through unsolved murders in Jacksonville, and my heart goes out to DeAngelo Tillie’s little girl. I can’t even begin to fathom how she’s coping after witnessing something so unimaginably traumatic at such a young age. Does anyone know if there’s been any community support for her, like counseling or social services involved? It’s so crucial for children in these situations to have proper mental health support. I’ve read that some communities have programs or nonprofits that specifically help kids who’ve experienced trauma like this. It's just so tragic, and I hope she’s getting the help she needs to process everything. If anyone local has updates on efforts to support the family — especially DeAngelo's daughter — I’m sure many of us would appreciate hearing about it. It’s important to surround them with as much love and aid as possible in such a difficult time.
