Has anyone delved into the possibility of a hitchhiking scenario in Christopher Sanders' case? I know the area around Interstate 20 can be pretty trafficked, with lots of transient activity due to the oil industry. Could he have hitched a ride with someone heading out of town? It's such a vast stretch of road with numerous paths that could be taken. Maybe someone with local insights or sightings around that time might hold a piece of the puzzle. Was there ever an appeal to truck drivers or travelers passing through? Could be worth exploring if there's any chance he got picked up and moved on, either willingly or unwillingly. Thoughts?
Did anyone else catch the interview with Christopher's wife where she talked about the call they had right before he disappeared? I feel like there's some key information in the emotions he shared during that conversation. It makes me wonder just how much his mental state could've influenced his actions that morning. I can't help but think that if he was feeling that overwhelmed and was off his medication, he could have been more at risk than initially thought. It's such an eerie thought that he just walked away and has never been seen since. Does anyone know if they followed up on any sightings along I-20 or what leads they pursued from there?
