Hi everyone, I've been following David Moore's case and something that's been on my mind is the location where he was found. The 1500 block of North Broadway has a lot going on—it's really disheartening to see how violence seems almost ingrained there. I keep thinking about how the neighborhood had already been dealing with so much that year. It's sad to realize that Moore's murder is another layer of grief for the community. There's so much talk about broader issues like gun control and community interventions, but on a personal level, I can't help but wonder how the people who live there are coping daily. Does anyone have insights into what local groups or residents are doing to support each other right now? It feels like the community must be beyond overwhelmed. With more focus on grassroots efforts, maybe there could be some real change. But every time I read about another incident, it's like these tragedies never end.
