Has anyone else been digging into Scott David Kurland’s disappearance? The detail about him coming back home soaking wet because he “baptized himself in a lake” is so bizarre to me. Does anyone know if there's any significance to the lake, like if it holds some personal or symbolic meaning to Scott? It's kind of eerie, especially when paired with the comments he made to his wife about talking to angels. Makes you wonder if he believed he was having some kind of spiritual experience or if it was something more troubling. I’ve heard theories that people act out their beliefs under stress, but this is just all too strange. Does anyone have thoughts on this angle?

I’ve been following Scott David Kurland’s case and can’t stop thinking about his statements before he disappeared. When he talked about baptizing himself and speaking with angels, it almost feels like he was in some kind of heightened or altered state of mind. Could he have been experiencing some sort of psychological episode? It makes me wonder if he might have been trying to communicate a deeper struggle he was going through. I know some people mention spiritual experiences when they're in distress, and it’s just so sad that maybe he didn't get the help he needed. Anyone with knowledge of mental health care have thoughts on how this might have played into his actions that night?

Has anyone else found it odd how Scott's behavior changed so drastically before he went missing? I've been reading up on his case, and the fact that he spoke about talking to angels and leaving the earth is really concerning. It almost sounds like he might have been experiencing some kind of mental crisis at the time. Plus, the detail about him "baptizing himself" in a lake at 1 a.m. is particularly strange. It makes you wonder if he truly believed he was undergoing some sort of spiritual transformation. I keep thinking about how his mental state might have played into his disappearance, and it makes you wonder if there might be more to uncover about the days leading up to it. Does anyone have thoughts on how mental health might intersect with missing persons cases like Scott's?
