Wow, it’s unsettling how someone can be on the run for over 40 years without getting caught. I was just reading about Andrew Peter Dabbs and how he’s managed to stay under the radar all this time. What really gets me is how he'd been an auto mechanic. It makes me think about how easily he could blend in while moving from state to state, especially with his skills. I’m curious if anyone has any theories about what methods he might have used to evade law enforcement for so long? Seems like he was always one step ahead, which is frustrating. Maybe he had connections in different places that helped him along the way? Also, have any of you heard about specific sightings or tips that almost led to his capture? With such a substantial reward, I'm surprised there hasn't been more to go on.

I was doing some digging into Peter Dabbs' background, and it's interesting to note his connections across multiple states. It makes you wonder how he managed to stay hidden for so long. The guy being an auto mechanic could have given him a lot of flexibility with moving around without raising suspicion. Anyone else think that maybe he used his skills to change his appearance or disguise himself? Plus, if he worked odd jobs, he could keep a low profile easily. I’m curious if anyone here has seen cases where fugitives evade capture using their trade skills like this. It seems like that reward might not be enough to coax out info from people who might have crossed paths with him unknowingly over the years. Thoughts?
