I can't help but think about how connected Jarred was to his community through his love of baking. Those homemade cookies must have been a bright spot for everyone that knew him. It’s such a cruel twist of fate that someone so warm and community-driven was taken away in such a senseless manner. I keep wondering if those community ties can somehow help break the silence around what happened that night. Maybe folks who tasted those cookies or spent game days with him might remember something, anything, that could lead to answers. I'm really hoping someone comes forward soon. No family should have to endure this kind of pain and uncertainty. My thoughts are with Leilani and the rest of his loved ones.
