Hey everyone, I've been reading about the tragic case of Ernesto Rafael Gonzalez, and I just can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on his family and friends. Ernesto was just doing his job as a security guard when his life was cut short in such a senseless act of violence. I can't imagine the heartache his loved ones must feel, knowing that those responsible have still not been brought to justice after all these years. I wanted to bring up the point about the public's role in these unsolved cases. The San Diego Police Department and Crime Stoppers have been pleading for any information, no matter how small. It's a reminder of how crucial community involvement is in cases like these. Sometimes someone might have witnessed something that seemed insignificant at the time, but could actually be the piece of the puzzle needed to solve the case. For those of you who are in the San Diego area or might know someone who was around the Rolando area back in 2013, please consider spreading the word. There's this feeling of frustration knowing there might be people out there with information who have yet to come forward. Let's not let Ernesto's case fade into the background. He deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. Thanks for reading and let's hope for a breakthrough soon.
