I’ve been diving into the details surrounding the missing person case near Columbia Bay, AK, and can’t help but wonder about the conditions on that day. Anyone know what the weather was like when they fell overboard? I’m thinking rough waters or bad weather could have contributed to them going overboard. Also, would love to hear from any locals about tides or currents in that area—could that have played a role in why they haven't been located yet? I feel like understanding the environmental factors might help clarify things a bit. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of the person who went missing after falling overboard near Columbia Bay, AK. I can't stop thinking about the conditions that might've played a role. Does anyone know if this area is known for strong currents or unpredictable weather? It seems like even experienced boaters might find themselves in trouble if taken by surprise. Any locals here who could weigh in on how quickly the water might get dangerous up there? It's so nerve-wracking thinking about how quickly things can change in such a remote place.
