Has anyone else been following the details around Antwan Bond's case from 2017? It’s so frustrating to see how his story just seems to highlight all the issues with witness cooperation in Baltimore. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through, not getting the answers they deserve. It’s like people are too scared or don’t trust the system to speak up, which makes it even harder for justice to be served. It’s up to us as a community to break this cycle, but how do we do that when the fear is so real? We need to support each other more and find a way to make our neighborhoods safe for everyone. If anyone has ideas or wants to discuss solutions, I’d love to hear them. It’s time we come together to do right by victims like Antwan.

Was scrolling through some updates on Antwan Bond’s murder and found myself thinking about the role the local community plays in solving cases like this. It's deeply frustrating that fear of retaliation keeps so many potential witnesses silent. I totally get the fear—nobody wants to become the next target. But without cooperation, it's so hard for justice to be served and for his family to get closure. The lack of trust in law enforcement is another layer to this tragedy. If the community and police could somehow bridge that gap, it might really help in cases like Antwan's. Does anyone know if there have been any community initiatives aimed at improving police-community relationships in Baltimore? It seems crucial for moving forward and preventing more senseless tragedies.
