Hi everyone. I've been following Malcolm Hobbs' case for a while now, and I just can't stop thinking about how his quiet presence must have been a constant for his neighbors in Bauneg Beg Hill. I recently stumbled upon a small detail that got me curious. Did anyone else hear about the odd set of tire tracks found just off the main driveway to the farmhouse? I recall reading somewhere that investigators thought they might belong to someone familiar with the area, given how well-hidden the tracks were. It makes me wonder if the person (or people) involved had connections to North Berwick beyond just being passing criminals.
It's chilling to think that someone may have scoped out the property beforehand, especially since Malcolm was known for being so private. If anyone has more info on this or thoughts about that piece of evidence, I'd love to hear more. It feels like there's something significant there that might just need a bit more light shed on it. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are still living with this uncertainty.

That’s very interesting! Where did you read or hear about the tire tracks? And have you heard of any other details? It’s so sad it seems like he was a sweet elderly man who didn’t deserve such an end.

Looks like the "tire tracks" isn't anything that I found verifiable in my searches. Must have come from somewhere though. Maybe it is not public knowledge. Police sometimes hold on to things and don't release information for various reasons. I dug around sounds like that might be a rumor started by someone.
