It's truly tragic to see cases like Omar Solano's go cold, especially with witnesses present during the incident. I'm curious about the role that street surveillance or security footage might have played in identifying the getaway vehicle or providing additional clues. It seems that in residential areas, there are often some surveillance cameras around, maybe from local businesses or even private residences. Has there been any mention of investigators looking into this? Or perhaps calls for the public to check their home security footage? I hope there can be some new breakthroughs, both for Omar’s family and to deter such brazen acts of violence in communities. My heart goes out to his loved ones, especially his little daughter who will grow up without her dad.

It's been almost seven years since Omar Solano's tragic death, and I came across the case recently. It's so disheartening to see that despite having multiple witnesses, the case still remains unsolved. I was particularly struck by how brazen the shooter was, committing such a violent act in broad daylight. It's baffling to think that someone could act so violently without an obvious motive and just disappear. I wonder if there might be more to this, something that witnesses might have unintentionally overlooked or some connection that wasn’t immediately clear to investigators. Omar's young family must feel such an emptiness every day. It's hard not to think about his daughter who will grow up without knowing her father, apart from the stories shared by those who loved him. I just hope that as the years go by, anyone holding onto vital information will find the courage to speak up. Keeping this case in the public eye might eventually lead to a breakthrough. Sending my thoughts to Omar’s family and the El Monte community; they deserve closure and justice.

I've been thinking a lot about that piece of evidence from the Omar Solano case that’s often overlooked: the detailed suspect description. It seems unusual that even with such specific details, they’ve hit a wall. We're talking about a Latino male in his early 20s, a specific outfit, and a light gray car. El Monte isn’t the largest place, so how hasn't someone come forward with more info, especially with such a tragic loss on the line? It feels like there's more to this case or perhaps fear holding back potential witnesses. Omar's family deserves every effort in finding answers. The pain of having a new family member who will never know her father must be unimaginable. Hoping anyone with information finds the courage to speak up and help bring some closure to this hurting family.
